Ferrous Ascorbate + Folic Acid + Zinc is a powerful combination of solutions belonging to the class of medications called haematinics, which are primarily used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) and iron deficiency in the body that occurs mainly due to chronic kidney failure, poor diet, poor absorption of food, or increased fat use in the body (in pregnancy). The medication works by providing various benefits to the health. Ferrous Ascorbate is a compound that contains iron and vitamin C. Iron is a mineral that plays a vital role in the formation of haemoglobin. Vitamin C helps to increase the absorption of iron from the digestive tract. Non-heme iron is the type of iron that is found in plants and foods, ferrous ascorbate helps the body to absorb these essential ingredients. 

Folic Acid is an essential nutrient present in this combination and helps the human body through the production, creation, and maintenance of new red blood cells. Folic acid is very helpful in treating anaemia caused by folate deficiency. The third ingredient Zinc present in the medication plays an important role in DNA synthesis, cell growth, protein synthesis, tissue repair, and immune function. Because zinc promotes cell growth and reproduction, adequate levels of zinc are needed during periods of rapid growth, including childhood development, puberty, and pregnancy. Directions to use
