Montelukast & Levocetirizine HCL Tablets – Levoton is a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine and is indicated for the treatment of allergic conditions, fever, runny nose, and many allergy symptoms. Montelukast is a drug that belongs to a group of drugs known as leukotriene receptor antagonists. It is used to treat allergy symptoms (commonly known as seasonal allergic rhinitis or hay fever) and to prevent and control asthma symptoms. Levocetirizine is an allergy medication that blocks the chemical messenger that causes a runny nose, watery eyes, and cough.
Usage
1) Levocetirizine is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, and sneezing.
2) This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
Side Effects
Levocetirizine and Montelukast Sodium Tablets can cause some side effects that cannot be ignored if any of them get worse. Visit the doctor and tell him about any side effects the patient is experiencing.
