Pantoprazole Sodium (EC) & Domperidone (SR) Capsule – Pantoprazole sodium and domperidone consist of two medicines namely domperidone and pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic and anti-nausea agent that works in the upper gastrointestinal tract to increase gastric and intestinal motility and help treat indigestion and abdominal pain. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of stomach acid, which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Usage
1) Pantoprazole is used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other conditions involving excess stomach acid.
2) Domperidone helps you to stop feeling or being sick (nausea or vomiting).
3) Domperidone is used to treat slowed movement in the gastrointestinal tract associated with diabetes and gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining)
4) Domperidone works to improve symptoms by helping the stomach to empty more quickly and to reduce nausea.
